This week Pegman takes us to Tehran, Iran. Feel free to use the photo sphere selected, or chose from photo spheres anywhere across the region. Your mission is to write up to 150 words inspired by the prompt. You may write poetry, fiction, or essay and you are free to take the as literally (or not) as serves your muse.
Once your piece is polished, share it with others at the linkup below. Reading and commenting on others’ work is part of the fun.
Please consider joining this international group of globe-trotting writers!
A couple side notes:
- I was suggested this location by a new friend I met at the Iowa Summer Writing Festival. Though originally from Iran, she’s now a journalist elsewhere. She was interested in how people perceive a place they’ve never been. With people from all over the world participating in this prompt, I thought it might be fun for her to see how her hometown inspires others. (Also seriously hoping she joins us–did you hear that Ladane? 😉 )
- My apologies for not getting to everyone’s prompts in a timely fashion for the past two weeks. First I was traveling, and then I was attending a workshop. I expect to be back on track this week!
