This week Pegman takes us to the Golconda Fort in Hyderabad, India. Your mission is to write up to 150 words inspired by the location. Feel free to use the photo supplied with the prompt, or find your own in Hyderabad, using street view or photo spheres available at the location.
Once your piece is polished, share it with others using the linkup below. Reading and commenting on others’ stories is part of the fun!

Here’s my contribution for Pegman (left it with the link-a-think, too, of course), adapted from a real event my Indian colleague Ama had told me years ago:

Jelli, I took it down. I hope there wasn’t a problem! I didn’t even get a chance to read it. Had some household catastrophes and a work deadline.

Thank you. I hosed the word count, then edited it down to meet…then, it just didn’t work at all.

Aw… I do that all the time. I think you should have left it though–with the caveat that it’s over on word count. Just my two cents.

I would have, but people were complaining. The easy way out was just to take it down.
